Why I do What I do!

Why I do What I do!

Why?

I cannot make up my mind between these two statements ..

“To inspire action to ignite change so that you realise your imaginable future.” or

“To inspire people to do the things that inspire them so that, together, we can change our world.”

I love love love my why, I love it when I get to laugh with my friends and colleagues (as per the cover photo of me laughing! ) as an outcome of living my dream – living my why.

There is a whole life journey of experiences that feeds into this why.  I think from my earliest memory as a toddler was to figure out a way to achieve an outcome via a different way than was currently being undertaken. As life progressed there have been plenty of occassions where I also needed to rethink the destination.  We all have a story, I am proud, inspired and grateful that my story had some awesome mentors along the way.

What I do?

My superpower is to ignite inspiring change for individuals and business.  Partnering with inspired individuals, unlocking human curiosity that in turn creates options.  Taking those options and rapidly rejig actions and focus to realise your imaginable future.

Delivering transformation change is my specialty along with looking at a portfolio or quantity of actions and contributing to what to stop, start, merge or defer to another time to make way for your path ahead.

How do I do it?

Partnering with inspired individuals applying my consulting and coaching services to deliver transformation change as I have done globally for 30+ years.  I do this with businesses and  individuals supported by the consulting firm I work with or by on line material I’ve developed.

What do I mean?

I had a choice, reskill and do something else – or do what I know best and do well and figure out different ways of doing it.  I’ve taken my 30+ years of global transformation experience of over 2.5B of programs and coaching and influencing 100’s of people and rejigged the way in which I deliver that service.

Often people will say – give Ferne your goal and see how rapidly she will help get you there?

  • 80% of business transformations fail AND of the small %, reportedly 3%!, of the population who set goals, only 8% actually achieve – engaging with me helps increase your odds!
  • Only 10% of our population say they achieved what they wanted in life – engaging with me helps increase your odds!
  • Going from feeling lost, stressed, overwhelmed to refreshed, in control, passionate
  • Get results by being relatable and personable
  • Solving for solutions to achieve their tomorrow – rapidly
  • Good communicator and has the ability to cut through complexity and politics to avoid inertia
  • Facilitator, negotiator, leader
  • Ability to recognise individuals’ key strengths and bring people together
  • One of the most inspiring, hardest working and authentic people & leaders
  • Insightful, balanced, mindful and soulful.
  • Significant knowledge and understanding of change management and leadership
  • Guides and inspires
  • Clear view of plan, strategy and required procedures
  • Strategic, compassionate, and transformational leader
  • Manages project portfolios and large projects in very complex environments
  • Guiding and coaching senior executives in what needs to be don

But who am I… what has happened to create my why?

I grew up in a low socioeconomic environment where my emotional and physical safety was not always tended to. From a young age I was determined that I didn’t want to have the life I had as a child as an adult. So, what was I going to create my imaginable future? Transforming my life path was far from easy! My father always said ‘learn from people that get knocked down and keep getting back up again, and have others learn from you!’.. I can’t count the amount of times I have been knocked down and wanted to stay there, but those words have always stuck with me, and that advice is attributed to getting the future I wanted for myself!

Fast forward to my now, I live on a beautiful property navigating the early days of a relationship seperation during Covid.  I am a mother to a 6-year-old girl who I conceived at the age of 49 after 15 rounds of IVF.  I designed and built a tiny house so my 84-year-old mother could live on the property with us and be close to my daughter, while still having her own independence. This led me into a Tiny House business, where we have 1.6M online views to one of my designs. I had part of my stomach removed in 2019 due to early signs of cancer while in a massive transformation role for a major bank in Australia.  This lead to a serious look at my health and home environment, I now talk to others about the lifestyle changes I chose to make as a foundational element to achieving sustainable success.   Over the past 30+ years I have had a wonderful career travelling the world as a professional service consultant AND LOVED IT!! I have been fortunate enough to have been mentored by many awesome CXO;s and Dr John Dimartini, Dr Alicia Fortinberry and Michelle Murray- their insight stretched my thinking and got me to believe in myself to achieve the life I live now.

We all have a story .. mine is no more complex or confusing as others but I am proud of what I have done with my lessons and being brave to take that on line to help others achieve their imaginable future.

9 things to keep in mind as you go about your day

9 things to keep in mind as you go about your day

9 things to keep in mind as you go about your day

Tip One: Focus on what you do with your time, not what others do – do not compare !  Your mind will never let you win !

Tip Two: Keep a rough diary for a week or minimum of three days to know what you do with your time, and then decide what / where you will change

Tip Three: create your own one pager personalised diary to track where you want to / should spend your time each day.  Hand write this for a week, then digitise it on computer or device

Tip Four: do something every day to take a step towards your imaginable future.   EVERY day to take a step , take an action

Tip Five: do not reward yourself throughout your day, do not say .. after the next task i will reward myself and go to the fridge!! do not reward yourself until the end of the day.. and ONLY reward yourself if you actually achieve your goals for the day

Tip Six: Working longer hours does not create productivity;  a good balance of sleep, nutrition, mindfulness, exercise, happy activities and striving for something larger than ourselves and mixing in some work creates productivity – schedule in your day journalling, sleep, eating times, meditation, exercise, something to put a smile on your face .. THEN work time – with regular breaks.

Tip Seven: find ways to automate and consolidate!  digital transformation …

Tip Eight: break your weekly time schedule into problems you are solving for, this quite often alters the tasks and the priorities you give them … figure out what are your biggest three problems causing you stress or worry, then plan the actions to resolve or mitigate as a priority.

Tip Nine: only spend 20 minutes maximum a day ‘surfing’ social media.  Dont look at your phone or computer before you are ‘ready’ for the day.  Dont look at your phone or devices for the hour before going to bed.

I have my ups and downs of being at home, I try to be careful of the language I use.  I am not ‘stuck at home’, I am ‘safe at home’.  I am not ‘floundering and figuring out how to get through a day’  I am ‘flourishing at figuring new and altered ways to find my new comfort’  …
BUT …
what the heck is happening to my time management?

I am saving hours of travel not having to get myself and my daughter to where we need to be each day. But somehow, I seem to have LESS time. Somehow, I have started to fall behind on all my to-do lists.

Before COVID-19 hit I was working part time at the office and part time at home as well as running an on line business as well as winding up a tiny house design and build company, managing a house, a child, a parent who lives independantly with us …  I was managing it all brilliantly.

When the restrictions began, I was quietly looking forward to having so much extra time on my hands each day, my house will be spotless, our dinner will be extravagant, I will be producing some of my best work and I will still have time leftover to focus on my other ventures. Sure my 6 year old will be home, but my mother lives on the property and she will be able to help with home schooling, besides I will be saving myself an hour a day just from not having to do the school runs and nearly 2.5 hours a day with work travel .. there is 3.5 hours saved right there!

Day one, somehow it was lunchtime… I had given up on home schooling for the day (No judgement, I’m sure I am not the only one.. being a teacher is tough!), I had half an unloaded dishwasher, I had no idea what we were doing for dinner, and besides from checking some emails I had only done about 10 minutes of work!! Oh, and the house was far from spotless thanks to my 6 year old hurricane getting around the place.

Where did the morning go?? What do I have to show for it?? And about 1pm I started role playing the conversation that was going to occur when my partner got home about how much I had (not) got done in the day!

Ok, Ferne, not the best start, sit down and have some lunch, call in your mum for some ‘Nanna Duties’ then get stuck into it… No distractions! But then the phone rings (I didn’t answer her last call; I’ll have a quick 10 minute chat…who was i kidding … 40mins later I’m back into it). But then the washing machine sings, but I am ignoring it… (or am I? It wont take long to hang out, and I need time to think through my response to this problem anyway).. And then it is 9:30pm, we had meat and veg for dinner, the house is quiet (but not clean), I am the only one awake, and I will be for the next few hours at least while I get this work done.. And I promise myself that tomorrow I will be more organised, more disciplined, no excuse!! Yet, I continued doing the same thing every day that week.

Clearly what I was doing wasn’t working for me and I had to change my strategy. The truth is I have never been in this situation before, so I needed to come up with a unique approach. Yes, discipline is part of it, but it is not the whole solution. The bottom line is at home we are distracted by our personal to-do lists because everything that we would not give a second thought about in the office is now at our fingertips at home (and there is no shame in wanting to get ahead so there is more time for leisure at the end of the day).

So here is what I realised…

If I start my ‘tasks’ at the time I usually leave for work and finish ‘tasks’ at the time I would arrive home I am giving myself easily an extra two hours of ‘to do’ time.

I spend 5 minutes in the morning creating a list of all my chores and all my tasks for work, and the time that it will take to complete them- rechecking each morning what i need to carry over from the day prior and readjust for the week, or what i did in advance of expectation.

I prioritise tasks and plan the day so I do a task for work – and make sure I do the tasks I dont like FIRST , followed by a 5 minute ‘break’ where I will do a house chore.

I am working faster to try and keep up with my daily schedule. When things go back to “something different than today” I will continue to beat the clock to do my housework as I now realise I waste way too much time dawdling on mundane tasks that I could do quickly and free up time for myself.   Every time I save 5 minutes I spend that extra 5 min journalling or doing something for ME !

Changing the way we think and live in our homes! How is that working for you?

Changing the way we think and live in our homes! How is that working for you?

Changing the way we think and live in our homes! How is that working for you?

Do you clean like your mum, do you clean like the person who you grew up with.  Do you wash your clothes the same way your household did as you grew up.  Who’s habits have you recreated for yourself in your home?  Whos habits do you follow about what you do to boost your immune system?  What education or knowledge searching have you done about actions you can take at home, easily, to improve your immune system WHICH IS DEPLEATED when you are stressed.

I lived with my dad for much of my formative years of learning to ‘keep house’.  We had a copper in our laundry, where you would light a fire under the copper to heat the water and wash my father and brothers fishermans clothes once a week, then wring them out in a hand wringer over the twin tubs in the laundry and I remember how excited I was when my dad brought us a twin tub washign machine .. wash on one side .. then put the clothes in the other side to spin.  My friends at school thought I was crazy for being so happy about a washing machine!

Anyway .. who taught you to clean? Or did you create your own habits and ways of keeping house?  What do you do to boost your immune system?

Well, the world has changed.  Putting it bluntly 12 months ago I had a laundry cupboard of all sorts of cleaning ‘stuff’ , as did my mother who is 84 and lives with us.  NO LONGER.  12 months ago I got early signs of stomach cancer and had some of it removed, I quickly learned all I could about boosting my immune system, and now with what is occuring ensuring my mother is educated as much as possible to what we do at home to boost ours.

A clean and green home : I have two spray bottles in my kitchen one with 2.5pH water and one with 11.5pH water.  This cleans and disenfects my whole house and I LOVE IT.  My mother a die hard cleaning product hoarder!  She converted .. she loves it.  It saves significant money, the 2.5pH is a hospital grade disenfectant, I also have a smaller spray bottle in my hand bag for hand sanitiser.

Boosting our Immune System.  We take Turmeric capsules every day .. Oh My Goodness, the benefits are astounding it even has doctors going ‘dont know how – but it works’.  We also drink an altered pH water level from our home tap (through a water machine) and our immune systems are boosted, but not only that. There are many little niggly health issues that have ‘gone away’ for mum.  It is quite increadible, same for me but more obvious for my mum.

What I was not aware of is the effect of stress on the immune system ..

from Alf Garcia Psychotherapist / Psychologist Clinical Hypnotherapist  “Coronavirus (COVID – 19) is affecting and changing the way we used to live. The usual advice of washing our hands and practicing good social distancing is for our own good, but the Coronavirus has created anxiety and uncertainty.

This is a natural human reaction when we perceive an unknown threat. This anxiety can affect our thoughts, feelings, behaviour and most important our immune system. When we feel anxious our body release the hormones Adrenaline and Cortisol. These hormones cause our heart to beat faster and prepare us for fight or flight. We feel tense, nervous, and awkward. Once the threat has passed, our body will release other hormones to calm us down and counter attack these symptoms.

After all anxiety feels different to everyone and having to stay at home without knowing for how long, can affect us in different ways thus creating different levels of anxiety and affecting the immune system.

Keeping your system strong will make it more resistant to infectious diseases, but when you worry and feel anxious over a prolonged period of time; it will affect your immune system by making it weaker.

Therefore, to keep your immune system strong and healthy, try to watch the news once or twice a day. Avoid watching it continuously and you will avoid added anxiety (your body will thank you for that). If possible try to do some kind of exercise at home. You don’t have to be an athlete! This activity will increase your Dopamine and Serotonin levels. People sometimes refer to them as the “happy hormones” as they regulate mood and emotions and the good news is: You can intentionally cause happy hormones by doing the following. Cheer yourself up, distract yourself, remind yourself of all the things to be grateful for in your life and remember laughter is the best medicine.

In return, you will make your immune system much more resistant to infections. And for my final thought: Stay safe and stay at home. For those who don’t have support and for those who have lost their jobs recently, it is imperative to monitor your stress levels and remember this will pass in time. We’re all in this together! Wishing you all an outstanding day and take care. Alf Garcia Psychotherapist / Psychologist Clinical Hypnotherapist”

Great Advice !

I’m glad my mum and I created habits prior to this virus that ensured we have a clean and green home and were already on a path of boosting our immune systems.  Now I am also more aware of what impact stress has on our immune system.

I hope you learned something in todays blog .. a long one but so critical to our knowledge of improving our health and a clean green home.

The thing that sits between success and failure .. have you got it?

The thing that sits between success and failure .. have you got it?

Self-discipline is the only thing that separates success from failure and the real cool thing about that is it is 110% in our control!!!

We are not born with self-discipline… It is something we need to develop and practice.

What is it you want for you and or your business?

What price (ethically!) will you pay to get it?

Role play top athletes!  I worked with the operations committee for the inaugural European Games in Baku, Azerbaijan.  I can tell you many athletes do not bounce out of bed every day and high five you about their routine for the day.  What they do, is high five you about their self-discipline – understanding the price they need to pay to achieve their goals.  Training for 10 hours a day for 2 years to achieve a medal for their country – that is self-discipline.

Self-discipline is like a muscle; it gets better the more you regularly exercise it.  It does not perform well when you stop start over a period of months.

Tip 1:  Do what you DON’T want to do first every day.

Tip 2. Take action every single day towards your goals (7 days a week!).  Even if it is a 10 minute activity on a Sunday.  Figure out what is compromised or how you will allow for this as a priority.  Get up earlier, give up golf for 6 months, get in optimal health to improve productivity.

Tip 3. Delay gratification, particularly with working at home!  Reward AFTER you have achieved an action.  If you need a ‘break’ do not get chocolate to reward 1/2 way, do not watch a movie as 1/2 way reward.  Only reward yourself on finishing an action.

Tip 4.  Praise yourself, and oftenYour mind only knows what YOU tell it.  If you continually tell your brain

“This is crap, I cannot do this”

“This is going to fail – the boss is not going to like this”

“I’m not confident with this task, everyone will think is stupid or below expectation”.

If you say those things to yourself, there is a high chance they will come true!

 What if you said…

“This is challenging, but it is a step towards my target goal, and I will put passion and quality into everything I do”

“This is going to be so successful, the boss will love it”

“This task is a stretch for me, but I will apply myself as best I can and people will appreciate the effort I have put into it and my passion, energy and integrity will shine through”.

Self-discipline
is the ONLY thing between failure and success
and the ball is 110% in your court

Is my day shorter than everyone elses?

Is my day shorter than everyone elses?

Is my day shorter than everyone else’s?

Do you sometimes wonder if the time thief stole hours from your day?

How is it that others seem to breeze through the day, appear happy with their over achievements, exude perfectly calm and happy tones in their voices of an evening and some even tell us of the relaxing time they had with partners or children after dinner before bed.

Tip 1: You will not be able to alter what you do in a day if you don’t first audit what you do for approximately a week and actually know where you spend your time.

Create no more than 6 categories of where you spend your time and record in a journal before going to bed each night put the time against each. AND write next to each day what you were grateful for in that day and why.

Suggestion; 1. Sleep 2. My Care (eat, self-care, exercise) 3. Care for the home / family / friends 4. Work 5. Travel 6. Hobby 7. Work on things that have a direct influence on my goals in life (meditation, journaling + taking actions for your future).

Tip 2: If a situation changes with your environment, state of mind or mood STOP and rethink your day ahead and shift things around.  Don’t get dinner ready at 5.30pm just because that is the time you do it every day.  Be prepared to move your day around if it means being kinder to yourself.  Example:  We have more time at home at present.  Pre prepare your dinner for the evening while you are getting breakfast in the morning – you will find you will save yourself time.  Get a really good set of blue tooth ear pieces, load zoom on your hand held device, listen to work calls – conference calls on mute and no camera while you fold the washing (obviously choose which calls are appropriate to multi task ) .  Listen to audio that teaches you something new that helps you get closer to your goals in life while you multitask.

This is the thing.

People who inspire us, people we observe and go – shit, they really kick goals out of the park and appear to have so much energy, love and feeling for what they do in life and outwardly appear so energized.

Those people have the same 24-hour period in a day we have.

Tip 3: Stop looking at what others are doing and comparing what you are NOT doing. Even though this article started with that view – cause we all usually start with that!

Focus on you, what does your ideal day or week look like. What is your ideal ‘mood variants’ throughout the week. For me, I like to get up early and see the change from night to morning and have that time to myself to journal, reflect, think about my day that was and the day that is coming. Whom I will interact with, what they need, what I need and how will I adjust my day to suit my needs.

You are the only one you should compare against! Get the most out of your day for YOUR needs.

1. Schedule Everything! (I use ASANA for my goals and tasks to achieve them); explore ALL the features of google calendar and MSTeams features – find quickly what works for you.

2. Do you procrastinate? 2 min rule. Whatever it is you are putting off. Just spend 2 min on it a day and make a START! (I will write a book one day!) Write in a journal 2 min a day the structure – the end of the story. Make a start.

3. Attention management how you change your attitude to manage your time. Take this change seriously.

4. Must Do, Should Do – prioritise. Could Do, Would Do – lower priority

Tip 4:  Working from home!

a) Embrace the chaos – go easy on yourself

b) Create a space for YOU away from your work – or throw a sheet over the workspace at the end of your work time

c) Set boundaries – work time, other things, stop – start.  Figure out what best works for you for productivity.  Communicate that to your team.

d) If you have kids – experiment and be flexible to find a groove that works.  Be strict with bedtime and sleep.  Research what good sleep does for a child’s brain and it will be a motivator to get them into bed at a reasonable time.  Good sleep makes a significant difference in our brains.  Prepare lunches and snacks in the morning for the day.  Pack a lunch box!  Put a rewards chart on the fridge – make the rewards realistic daily achievements (small steps).  COMMUNICATE.

e) Have a weekly or twice weekly family or house forum.  Ask open questions.  What do you like about being part of this family/home?  Is there anything we could be doing differently, better or stop doing?  LISTEN.

f) Communicate, communicate, communicate.  If you have a partner, have a 2 to 5 min ‘check in’ each morning and night on how you each are feeling and support one another.  Don’t immediately go into solution mode.  Just listen and be aware.

Lastly, find ways to AUTOMATE.  How many of us are in the business of efficiencies, transformation, speed to value, process improvements!  AND teaching our kids how to efficiently go about their day!

You know the common saying about a landscape gardener has a messy back yard, a builder always has a half finished home.  Well don’t make the same mistake for YOU.  If you are efficient in some areas of your life and not others – make a change.

Apply transformation techniques – audit what is the root cause of the issue, articulate clearly where you wish to be and how you will feel when you achieve that, assess the gap from today’s reality to the future – put actions in place to achieve your tomorrow.

Have a wonderful day people.

Foundational action in transformation of you and or your business

Foundational action in transformation of you and or your business

Foundational action in transformation of you and or your business

Being healthy and having a clean and green environment (your immediate environment) is a foundational discussion point when I discuss transformation of an individual and or business.

How many of us dream of the lifestyle experience we wish to have and for many this is based on a what appears to be a simplistic statement of “Having good health, being happy.  Being good to ourselves and others including the environment and independent to make our own choices in life with enough abundance to follow our passions”.

OK, so we know what we want. We take stock of where we are. What is the gap.  Then we put actionable steps into place to close that gap.  My superpower is helping with the gap analysis and what actions to take in what order to achieve your goals.

ONE of the foundational steps is health with a clean and green life.

How many of us get confused with the chaos and quantity of information out there, anyone can put anything up on google!  How to sift through fact and fiction when researching key elements of a healthyclean and green life.

After having early signs of stomach cancer in 2019 my specialist asked me to focus on two things.

  1. Quality water, meat and fruit/vegetables: Our body is made up of 60-70% water and am I confident of the quality of water I am putting into my body to help it do what it is made to do,  and ensure I am buying meat, fruit and vegetables from reputable providers.
  2. Taking actions that suit me to have a strong Mindset. Ensure I am doing what I need that suits me to have a strong mindset, enjoy being in the moment of today and take actions to achieve my tomorrow taking on the lessons of yesterday – but do not dwell. I had been fortunate enough to be a student of Dr John Demartini, had been mentored by Dr Alicia Fortinberry and Michelle Murray with insights from Debbie Mewes and also had benefited from working with some exceptional CXO roles from around the world in some very significant organisations and programs of work.  Working with them certainly made an impact on how I approached and found solutions to issues or obstacles.  Everyone I was mentored by or partnered with tested my boundaries and helped me take different actions for myself.   So in 2019 I reached back into my knowledge bank and refreshed what I had learned and made it a priority to take new actions for myself.

I reawakened the focus on me! I was 54 years old with a 5-year-old and I plan to be around for an awfully long time.  I re-started research and education on health and a clean green life in the context of transformation.   My background is in transformation change of mid to large size corporations so I used the same methodology approach at uncovering the end goal I wanted to achieve for myself, where was I now in life and the actions I needed to take to fill the gap for me and in what order.

Did you know 80% of transformations fail, and of the people who set goals only 10% actually achieve them.  Yep the odds are against us… so I went about and reconnected with my mentors and doing more research.

What is the thing or things that more greatly ensures success?

Mindset, Health and Discipline with a morning or night routine that suits YOU, reduce your fear by managing your own voice.  BUT recognise these things do not occur overnight.  All need us to take different actions in different ways to achieve.

One of my first actions was GETTING MY FOUNDATION RIGHT which was a healthier me (mind and body) and a clean and green life – I have a good morning and night routine so I felt good with that.

The below is a long read from what I researched over 6 months with a focus on health and a clean and green life.

Water – Fluoride; The Third Eye and Acidic and Alkaline water

What blew me away is I did not realise low acidic water and high alkaline water also benefited the environment and its significant benefit as a disinfectant and cleaner and many health ailments! I had no idea.  AND I found a product that produces all from low acidic through to high alkaline with gold certificates!  An all in one solution = drink, clean, disinfect, beauty and plants!

There are FOUR primary factors to consider with drinking water:

  1. Are there other additives (bottled water or town supply water)?
  2. Is there any scientific proof on this view of our third eye, pineal gland, our 7th Chakra and ‘quantum leaping’ where external elements impact water, and given our body is 60-70% of water does external impacts then affect us as humans?
  3. How acidic or alkaline is it (and what does it mean)
  4. Mineral composition

There are water testing kits you can get from local hardware or chemists if you wish to do a broad range of tests.  I also have a testing videos if you wish to see some of those.

An example of interruptions to your water quality in Australia over the summer of 2019 – 2020.  We had horrendous fires and due to the volume of water being pumped through our water ways to help fire departments with trucks and air water carriers the typical water treatment process was turned off as it could not cope with the volume of water being put through.  There is an attached link which shows you a media article– but buried in the middle of our papers.  Not on the front page.   But then for me, I also question what is in that water treatment, I am sure there are some good things – but I also question the additives added.  Either way .. for me it was about taking control of what water I was drinking, not trusting what just came out of the tap.

Researching alternate views of water additives and the impact of water quality on our bodies and our brain was my focus.

I got really lost in all the conflicting material on water additives, the benefits or otherwise.  The below is where I landed on my key opinions.  Fluoride, the third eye, quantum leaping and facts on acidic and alkaline water.  (if you go down the path of researching these areas be prepared for some widely conflicting advice – my recommendation is open your mind and ask yourself what is the consequence if you don’t take some of the research seriously).

The benefits or otherwise of fluoride in our water and toothpaste has long been a contention of they said / we said and different research.

It is widely reported how fluoride originated, the conspiracy theories talk about Hitler injecting fluoride to prisoners of war to keep them docile, this has been confirmed but it is what followed WWII that impacted my decision to stop all fluoride in my home.

“The ALCOA Company had an unlimited supply of toxic waste—a by-product of aluminum, AKA fluoride. At their lab, an ALCOA-sponsored biochemist did a test on rats that showed cavities were reduced with the fluoridated water and concluded that: “The case should be regarded as proved.” In this historic moment in 1939, the first public proposal that the US should fluoridate its water supplies wasn’t made by a doctor or a dentist, but an industry scientist working for a company that was also threatened by fluoride damage claims.”

More about the history and use of fluoride.  I read hours of documentation, this is one I tagged as a good read and summarised well much of the research I covered.

The Third Eye is how we help manage our voice that talks to us (one of the benefits)

There is enough scientific evidence of humans having a third eye, the pineal gland.  Fluoride has been proven to calcify the pineal gland.  There are many many things we can do to activate and use our third eye, also known as the 7th Chakra and called a parietal eye.

It is also found in certain species of lizards, sharks, bony fish, salamanders and frogs. It typically does not see but is instead photoreceptive in nature.  In humans it is buried deep in the brain. It is especially important for hormone regulation in mammals and vertebrates.

Activation of the third eye is a step I use in transformation of you and your business.  It plays a crucial role in your health and wellbeing and your ability to manage your thoughts with a direct correlation to your moods and what actions you take for yourself.   It has been proven that children and adults with a dormant pineal gland are more likely to suffer depression, find it hard to consistently stick to actions that can help change their mindset, suffer from anxiety and many other ‘thinking’ challenges.

The question I pose to people is what comes first Action or Mindset?  Different actions in differing ways with differing mentors and people achieve a different mindset.  There are many tools and methods out there to help us – BUT if your pineal gland is not activated or at its optimum you have a tougher road ahead to consistently stick to actions you want for yourself.

A strong pineal gland will critically assist with managing your thoughts, managing your thoughts has a significant impact on having a healthy body, particularly if you believe in Quantum Leaping in respect of water taking on what it is surrounded by thoughts and sound.

Quantum Leaping in relation to water quality within our bodies is how we help be in the best possible position for preventative health issues

Now this is pushing the envelope for many mainstream people.  So, skip this section if the above third eye pineal gland was a push for you and go straight to acidic and alkaline water research.  If you are curious about emerging studies on Quantum Leaping relating to water leverage the research I have done.

Description One: “An advance or sudden change is a quantum leap. … The phrase comes from a scientific term — in physics, a quantum leap is the abrupt change of a particle from one state to another. The Latin root, quantum, means “how much.”

Description Two: “great improvement or important development in something”

Words have been found to affect water crystals. Japanese researcher and healer, Dr. Masaru Emoto, conducted experiments on water molecules. These experiments showed human thoughts and intentions can physically alter the molecular structure of water.Oct 12, 2017

When subject to positive emotions (and words that invoke positive feelings) water molecules change into beautifully shaped structures. However, when subject to negative emotions or words, the molecules morph into jarring, chaotic shapes. Jan 6, 2018

Water charged with “positive” words, in contrast, has a clear, snowflake structure, covered by beautiful patterns. Music, as well words, can also affect water structures. … create water spoils, such as trembling and vibration, whereas Mozart’s music creates smooth crystal-clear structures. Sep 18, 2015

Emoto claims that human speech or thoughts have dramatic effects on water. … Emoto claims that positive words and emotions, classical music and positive prayer directed at the water produce beautiful crystals, while negative words and emotions and crude music, such as heavy metal, produce ugly crystals.Feb 17, 2011

Typically, your brain is functioning on Beta waves frequencies (14–40 HZ; concentration & alertness) so it will take you some time to get to the frequency of 4- 8 HZ. You will have to surpass the alpha waves first (8–14 HZ; relaxed focus, light meditation).Jan 31, 2019

SO … there is a lot to take in!  I use a Synctuition program for meditation.  I will let you do the research on it.  I find it fantastic for me.

My summary of the above, if you take fluoride from your intake, activate your pineal gland (third eye), actively surround yourself with positive thought, people with less fear than the average, good sound frequency, taking actions to achieve a good mindset the water in your body will be of better QUALITY and you will have less side effects. – but wait there is more.. what if the quality of water you put into your body also accelerated this journey!?

Alkaline Water .. this covers health as well as a clean and green home. This is not something to learn overnight, but once learned will change your life

Tap water produces 7pH, mid-range in the acidic and alkaline water range.

One of the topics I talk about is a water machine (that has gold certificates for its authenticity and is 40+ years in production based in Japan).  It produces water from 2.5pH up to 11.5pH.

The “alkaline” in alkaline water refers to its pH level. The pH level is a number that measures how acidic or alkaline a substance is on a scale of 0 to 14. For example, something with a pH of 1 would be very acidic and something with a pH of 13 would be very alkaline

You may have heard various health claims about alkaline water. Some say it can help slow the aging process, regulate your body’s pH level, and prevent chronic diseases like cancer, some brain specialist advocate it helps Parkinsons, children behviour disorders and a range of health issues driven from the health of our organs and brain. But what exactly is alkaline water, and why all the hype?

I wish to be very clear, I am not saying alkaline water will FIX or CURE any health issue.  What I am advocating for is the right management of acidic and alkalinity in your body will help your body more ably do what it is programmed and built to do.  Defend and protect us from harm.

Alkaline water has a higher pH level than regular drinking water. Because of this, some advocates of alkaline water believe it can neutralize the acid in your body.

Normal drinking water generally has a neutral pH of 7. Alkaline water typically has a pH of 8 or 9. However, pH alone is not enough to impart substantial alkalinity to water.

Alkaline water must also contain alkaline minerals and negative oxidation reduction potential (ORP). ORP is the ability of water to act as a pro- or antioxidant. The more negative the ORP value, the more antioxidizing it is.

Does it really work?

Alkaline water is somewhat controversial. Some health professionals say there is not enough research to support the many health claims made by users and sellers. Differences in research findings may be related to the types of alkaline water studies.

I am representing to you what I found after six months of research and 12 months of my own use and the use by my mother who is 84.

According to the Mayo Clinic regular water is best for most people. They state that there is no scientific evidence that fully verifies the claims made by supporters of alkaline water.

We were also told for many years contraceptive had no side effects, that pesticides used on our fruit and vegetables have no impact on our digestion.  I am at the point where I want to own my own comfort, I wish to be better educated to make my own decisions for my health.  I do not want to be back at a doctors again and be told stomach cancer has returned.

However, there are studies that suggest alkaline water is helpful for many conditions.  There was enough research for me, particularly in relation to the effect of hydration and alkaline water on the brain.

For example, a 2012 studyTrusted Source found that drinking naturally carbonated artesian-well alkaline water with a pH of 8.8 may help deactivate pepsin, the main enzyme that causes acid reflux.

Another study suggested that drinking alkaline ionized water may have benefits for people with high blood pressurediabetes, and high cholesterol.

more recent study that included 100 people found a significant difference in whole blood viscosity after consuming high-pH water compared to regular water after a strenuous workout. Viscosity is the direct measurement of how efficiently blood flows through the vessels.

There are studies on benefits to professional athletes which I have included in a persona view in the below link

Those who consumed high-pH water reduced viscosity by 6.3 percent compared to 3.36 percent with standard purified drinking water. This means blood flowed more efficiently with alkaline water. This can increase oxygen delivery throughout out the body.

Many professional athletes such as Tiger Woods and many many others swear by good quality and management of alkaline water is a contributor to their edge.

There are many doctors who support alkaline water for many benefits.  I have collected those articles and are available on request.   These include:

  • anti-aging properties (via liquid antioxidants that absorb more quickly into the human body)
  • colon-cleansing properties
  • immune system support
  • hydration, skin health, and other detoxifying properties
  • weight loss
  • cancer resistance

They also argue that soft drinks, which are notoriously acidic, have incredibly positive ORPs leading to many health problems, while properly ionized and alkalinized waters have highly negative ORPs. Green tea is rich in antioxidants and has a slightly negative ORP.

Possible side effects and risks of alkaline water

Although alkaline drinking water is considered safe, it may produce negative side effects. Education is a key aspect of changing any element of your health.

It is proven that if humans are confused, they will walk away or not act.  I was VERY confused when I researched the benefits of adjusted water pH and its impact.  But for me the consequence of getting cancer back in my stomach outweighed my confusion and I kept researching.

What I do is ensure I drink 7pH an hour before and after food intake.  Then up my pH drinking to 9.5pH for the balance of the day, specifically at times of exercise and meditation.  I have also significantly reduced the quantity of food I eat.

I use a KETO test in my urine once a week to check my acidity and alkaline levels

Some examples of negative side effects include the lowering of natural stomach acidity, which helps kill bacteria and expel other undesirable pathogens from entering your bloodstream.

Additionally, an overall excess of alkalinity in the body may cause gastrointestinal issues and skin irritations.

Alkalosis can also cause a decrease in free calcium in the body, which can affect bone health. However, the most common cause of hypocalcemia isn’t from drinking alkaline water, but from having an underactive parathyroid gland.  I found much of the negative research I found focused on this bone health issue, but in many – most cases it was a minor risk or contributor and there were other things that had a greater impact.  I also found that good management of alkaline water assisted with an underactive parathyroid gland which in turn then would assist with good bone health.  There were many needles in the hay stack and long spaghetti strings I unraveled!

One thing I had to be cautious of was the number of negative articles about Alkaline Water to only find they had links or had alignment with alternate money income generating recommendations.  They were promoting their own interest’s vs true health benefits.

Natural or artificial?

Water that is naturally alkaline occurs when water passes over rocks — like springs — and picks up minerals, which increase its alkaline level.

The Japanese water product machine I purchased is made in Japan, 40+ years in production. The water passes over charged plates that are separated by an ion-permeable membrane. The electrostatic charge on the machine’s plates causes the minerals in tap water – calcium and magnesium – to be separated from the acidic carbonate that they are mixed within the water.

Many people who drink alkaline water buy alkaline water that is been through a chemical process called electrolysis.  The benefit of the machine I have also lowers pH to acidic water – the water range is 2.5 up to 11.5pH.

The water quality of the original source, before ionization, is crucial to ensuring contaminants are not present in the drinking water, the best result is a water filtration AND ionization.

Clean and Green Home

2.5pH is hospital grade disinfectant and 11.5pH is a cleaner that does everything from kitchen, ovens included, bathroom and all of home.  I am amazed at its benefits.  There is an e-book produced to cover the benefits and use.  Again .. I am amazed at the difference of sustaining my own home and my other who is 84 is a convert!

Beauty Water

6pH is a wonderful addition – replacement to my beauty routine as well as the health of my plants.  Again, I am amazed, and benefits are covered in this e-book. (go to website and find free giveaways)

Where do you get it?

After my research I decided on Enagic as the company to purchase my machine from.  I love the guarantee of quality, I align to the ethics and values of the company based in Japan, it produces the full range of water that also covers disinfectant and cleaner in my home PLUS I’ve always had good skin, but maintaining that with all the changes that occur as a 50+ women was starting to concern me.

I just love the holistic aspects this one machine provides me.

There is lots of chatter online about the price of Enagic machines to other machines on the market.  Again, I did my research and happy to share it.  Bottom line for me, especially after years in the corporate world.  Enagic have priced their product for long term sustainability and keeping it out of the hands of what we would call mainstream corporations who would patent and alter its go to market proposition that the proceeds benefit a few vs many.

If you wish to book a call I can explain further how this works, but I am very impressed with the structure and business savvy of how this Japanese company has structured itself, its business model and sustainability throughout yesterday and the future.

You can also make your own at home. Even though lemon and lime juices are acidic, they contain minerals that can create alkaline by-products once digested and metabolized. Adding a squeeze of lemon or lime to a glass of water can make your water more alkaline as your body digests it. Adding pH drops or baking soda is another way to make water more alkaline.

We have heard for years the benefit of a lemon drink on rising in the morning – I did not realise the science behind it.

If water is properly filtered to remove contaminants, ionized and re-mineralized, or purchased from a quality source, there is no evidence to suggest a limitation on how much alkaline water can be consumed daily.
